This book was totally emotional! the setting was about Gestapu '65. I read this by Mas Tatu's recomendation (thank's, Hon...). He said that this was a romantic book. What?! I thought this book was only 'kiri' issue. (indonesian called communist is 'kiri'). I spent only 4 hours. Because the book is only 170's pages.I could read hundred pages of books. hehe.

The interesting parts are Ngarto was on the right rail to tell us about Indonesia Communist Party in 60's. He took some references about its history and mixed it into his story, tell us about Gestapu's victim and how they survive in 20 years later. It was great. To you, fiction readers, this one is recommended. This book is light, u can get the point without complication.

FYI, Indonesia Communist Party was about the giants of this Republic. Soekarno (his Nasakom), Soeharto (and his hell soldiers), and student movements. Then, Ngarto could combine three elements became a sentimental fiction. Can u imagine when u're innocent but this government injustice to u as their people however? And the government can destroy all side of ur life? The tragedy of Gestapu is an unforgiven sin in this Republic!
